You might bump into a Glorioso when shopping the aisles. Should you see them, say hi and they will be ready tell the story of Glorioso’s and share the history behind the family photographs seen around our store. Being active members of the Brady Street Business Improvement District, the Italian Community Center, local churches and community groups throughout the East Side, you can find us supporting the Milwaukee community, the city we call home.
More than anything, when you are in the store you will feel the culinary tradition, experience the warmth of the staff, and immerse yourself in quality foods from Italy. We focus on making your experience special. This is no ordinary grocery store. A patron once told us, “your store is a place where you inspire people to cook their best.” We find that to be the highest compliment, and a testament to the hard work and vision set forth by the Glorioso brothers. This hard work has earned us multiple awards for the best deli / takeout and grocery store in Milwaukee. In 2018, Glorioso’s was awarded the Shepherd Express Best of Milwaukee award in an unprecedented 4 categories: Best Deli, Best Ethnic Grocery Store, Best Gourmet/Specialty Grocery Store, and Best Gelato. We are honored to serve the Milwaukee community and we make it our mission to provide you with quality food while providing a great customer experience.
Glorioso’s Italian Market has grown from the 1,500-sq ft original location to our current 10,000-sq ft store. To make a good thing even better, we have launched Glorioso’s Appetito across the street to create a place where we can offer genuine Italian experiences from public cooking classes, private cooking lessons, to group or corporate events. In 2022, Glorioso’s Appetito combined efforts with Michael Solovey’s Sage Harvest to create the best and largest culinary experience in the Greater Milwaukee area with the addition of online cooking classes, food coaching, and in-home private dinners and classes.
