As the effects of coronavirus continue to evolve and change daily, Glorioso’s is continuing to make the necessary changes to our operation to provide the safest possible environment for our team members and customers. Our community remains our top priority and we will continue to work to ensure our store is safe for all who come through the doors upon our “in store” opening, which is to be determined.
Glorioso’s has added new safety measures to further ensure a safe working and shopping environment.

We are conducting daily health screenings of our team members as they arrive to work, including temperature checks, to ensure the safety of both our team members and all store visitors.

Glorioso’s has put measures in place to comply with all State & local health authorities to make sure employees remain home if they are not feeling well.

We are providing gloves and masks to all team members to wear while working. The CDC has provided new guidance around the use of masks and is now recommending wearing a mask or cloth face covering in public settings.

Glorioso’s will reopen with new shopping hours to support deeper cleaning and restocking efficiency. We will announce designated shopping hours for individuals 60 and older, and for customers with any chronic health conditions.

Glorioso’s is now asking our customers to limit their shopping to one person per family. We recognize that may not be possible in certain circumstances and will make exceptions for a family member and customers who need to shop with a child or assist a vulnerable shopper.

We are asking customers to wear a face mask, and limit their shopping to no more than 30 minutes. Please consider bringing your favorite scarf or old T-shirt to cover with while shopping if you don’t already have a mask.

We are asking customers to NOT bring reusable bags to the store, as they will not be allowed in.

We are asking customers to have patience to come into the store and while shopping. We ask that customers wait until leaving the store to discard their masks in the properly marked receptacles outside.

Occupancy will be limited. If a line forms outside our store, customers are asked to stand at least six feet away from the person in front of them and maintain a safe distance. To be certain that these limits are followed, team members will be stationed at the store entrance keeping track of customers as they enter and exit. We will admit shoppers into the store one at a time. Glorioso’s may enforce a brief delay between customers to allow for adequate space between customers as they enter.

The floors are marked with one-way aisles to better manage the flow of traffic and help customers maintain social distance from each other and our team members, such as lines for checkout, deli, meat and bakery. In-store signage will help direct shoppers throughout the store. We continue to suggest that customers use three lengths of their shopping carts to gauge appropriate distance from others.

We have installed plexiglass shields at all check lanes and are conducting frequent cleaning of all high touch points including carts, railings handles, doorknobs and customer payment pads.

Through our efforts and creative sourcing, we are able to keep Glorioso’s well stocked. We are trying diligently to have all your favorite items, and we are so grateful for your patience if any are unavailable. The item may be coming in soon, or it may be delayed because of a production pause or slowdown in transport. Fortunately, we have many alternate products to offer.
Thank you all for your many years of support and for your patience, kind words, and your smiles. And, a big thanks to our team members for their hard work, resilience, and smiles. We are all in this together. We are dedicated to keeping Glorioso’s and the community safe and healthy as we navigate this new reality.

Please visit our blog section or our Facebook page to find the most up to date information on available products, delivery and curbside pickup options, and progress on the re-opening of the full retail store.”

Thank You,
Michael Glorioso
