Arepas (corn cakes) with Ropa Vieja (braised beef) and Hogao (Columbian creole sauce)

If you’ve ever wondered how to make these delicious pillowy corn cakes, then you’re in luck! It’s time to expand your palate and we’ve got cooking to do! Arepas are popular in South America and have so much flavor that those in-the-know have been enjoying them since the Pre-Columbian era.

In this hands-on cooking class, students will learn the art of making and cooking Arepa dough.  Ropa Vieja (braised beef), Hogao (Columbian creole sauce), and a selection of garnishes will be served along with a side salad.

Our classes are organized so you work together in a hands-on, fun and engaging environment with our professional chef instructor.
